Princess Shruti

Princess Shruti (15 October 1976 - 1 June 2001) was the daughter of King Birendra and Queen Aiswarya, and sister of Crown Prince Dipendra and Prince Nirajan. Princess Shruti studied at Kanti Ishwori Sishu Vidhyalaya in Nepal, St. Mary's school in Nepal, and later at Mayo Girls College in Ajmer, India. She completed her bachelors degree at Padma Kanya Campus in Nepal.

She was married to Gorakh Shamsher J. B. Rana, a member of an aristocratic Rana family of Nepal, descendants of Maharajah Chandra Shumshere Rana. Princess Shruti had two daughters Girvani (b. 22 January 1998) and Surangana (b. 2 October 2000).

She, along with her mother, father and brother Nirajan, were killed in the royal palace massacre on 1 June 2001.

Kritika Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah

Princess Kritika Rajya Lakshmi Devi of Nepal (born 16 October 2003) is the youngest daughter of Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani. She is a granddaughter of King Gyanendra.

Like her sister, Purnika, Kritika was not in the line of succession to the Nepalese Throne however in July 2006 the Nepalese government proposed changing the succession law to absolute primogeniture.

On 28 May 2008 the Nepalese monarchy was abolished and replaced with a secular federal republic. In July 2008 Princess Kritika left Nepal with her mother, sister and brother to move to Singapore to join her father who had been making arrangements for the family to live in the country.

Purnika Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah

Princess Purnika Rajya Lakshmi Devi of Nepal (born 7 July 2000) is the eldest daughter of Paras, former Crown Prince of Nepal and former Crown Princess Himani, she is a granddaughter of former King Gyanendra.

She is third in line to the defunct Nepalese Throne. In July 2006 the Nepalese government proposed changing the succession law to equal primogeniture. The House of Representatives subsequently approved the bill, but it was not signed into law. This meant that Princess Purnika continued to be third in the order of succession after her father and brother until the abolition of the monarchy in 2008.

In July 2008 Princess Purnika left Nepal with her mother, sister and brother to move to Singapore to join her father who had been making arrangements for the family to live in the country.
